Rich passionately believes in the power and impact of arts education and frequently teaches for schools, sixth forms, universities and drama schools.

He understands that flexibility is important and that each organisation has its own ways of working. He can create bespoke and fluid processes/workshops that are responsive to the required learning outcomes of the institution and participants.

All schools workshops are physical, inclusive, accessible and, importantly, fun. Rich works with the class or ensemble to improve collective focus, exploring and expanding physicality and freeing up creative expression.

More challenging physical theatre workshops for makers, drama schools and festivals are available and can be adapted to suit your group, programming, production or module.

In line with his creative expertise, Rich also offers workshops specifically focused on 'storytelling', 'devising from scratch' and 'combining puppetry and physical theatre'.

In 2021 Rich is particularly interested in making showcase performances with students as part of their final stages of training. If you currently work with external artists please do get in touch with Rich to begin a creative dialogue and discuss his directorial approach further.
